Orange County Animal Services Launches New Website

Community & Services

The animals of Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) have some exciting news. After many years of dedicated service, the time has come to retire the longstanding OCAS website and launch a new site – one that is a stronger reflection of the amazing animals and ongoing efforts at Orange County Animal Services.

Starting today, all adoptable animals will be showcased on www.orangecountyanimalservicesfl.net. The previous website, www.ocnetpets.com, will direct guests to the newly-designed website. All of the animals showcased on the site, whether available for adoption or within the art and graphics, are OCAS animals.

This site was designed based on feedback shared over recent years from partners, volunteers, advisory board members, OCAS staff and leadership teams.

The site was designed to better engage with potential adopters and community partners, as well as residents. It provides easy to access information that ultimately helps local homeless animals through foster, adoption and volunteer efforts. The site was also created to serve as primary source of information for key items of interest, programs and promotions. Visitors will find a “Latest News” section, which includes press releases, information surrounding important announcements, stories and updates on shelter projects.

The site boasts new features of special interest to users:

  • Guests can search animals by their gender, age and size.
  • Guests can enter in specific ID numbers to view the pet, if currently available.
  • List of OCAS official rescue partners with contact information

Guests are encouraged to send comments or feedback to AnimalServices@ocfl.net.
