What an exciting start to the year! From the return of the NFL Pro Bowl Games at Camping World Stadium to record-breaking crowds at Megacon Orlando inside the Orange County Convention Center, there’s always something happening here.
As we move into warmer weather, it’s the perfect time to enjoy outdoor activities in Orange County. Our annual Mayor’s Jazz in the Park returns to Cypress Grove Park in Orlando, and for gardening enthusiasts, the UF/IFAS Garden Festival and Plant Sale offers a chance to explore sustainable gardening this weekend.
This month, we also recognize the female trailblazers and business leaders who have made a difference around the globe and here in Orange County during Women’s History Month. Join us for our third annual Women’s History Month Forum as we highlight the powerful ways women are breaking barriers and shaping industries, while also addressing the vital importance of mental and physical well-being.
Lastly, I invite you to join the Orange County Mayor’s Veterans Advisory Council as we honor our local Vietnam War veterans and their spouses with a special pinning ceremony on National Vietnam War Veterans Day.
