The Demings Digest | October 2025
Greetings,
Fall is officially here! With cooler weather arriving, now is the perfect time to step outside and enjoy the many festivals, celebrations and activities happening across Orange County this month. From the Winter Park Autumn Art Festival to an afternoon with furry friends at Barkoberfest, there truly is something for everyone.
Looking ahead, the Orange County Community Conference returns next month. This in-person event will be held at the Orange County Multicultural Center on Saturday, November 15, at 7:30 a.m. Attendees can look forward to informative sessions, hands-on workshops and engaging speakers throughout the day — a great opportunity to get involved and connect with your neighbors.
While we embrace all that fall has to offer, I also want to remind residents that hurricane season continues through the end of November. Please stay vigilant, monitor weather updates and make sure your family has a fully stocked emergency kit.
And finally, as Halloween approaches, I encourage everyone to stay safe while having fun. Accompany trick-or-treaters as they go door to door, use caution when crossing streets, stick to well-lit areas and remember to drive carefully through residential neighborhoods.
Sincerely,
