Extreme Heat Information and Cooling Locations in Orange County
A Heat Advisory is issued within 12 hours, or up to 36 hours in advance when the heat index values are expected to reach 108 to 112 degrees. Similarly, an Extreme Heat Warning is issued when the heat index values are expected to reach 113 degrees or higher.
