Community Health Fair features CPR training, kids activities and unveiling of Fire Rescue Station 70 truck
Orange County, FL – Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs, District 3 Orange County Commissioner Pete Clarke and the City of Belle Isle and Edgewood invite the citizens and families of Belle Isle, Edgewood, Conway and Pine Castle to a fun, free and informative Community Health Fair on Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cypress Grove Park, 290 Holden Ave., Orlando, FL 32839.
Visitors can take advantage of Orange County’s hands-only CPR training classes prior to the start of the health fair. Registration is required for the two CPR training sessions at 9 a.m. and 9:45 a.m., www.eventbrite.com/event/8149652831.
Other activities include free health screenings, healthy cooking tips and a special “Ask a Doctor” forum presented by board certified physicians. A fun ‘Kids Zone’ will feature exciting activities for children including bounce houses, face painting, balloon art, and popcorn. Free hotdogs, fruit snacks and beverages will also be served, while supplies last.
We will also unveil the Fire Rescue Station 70 truck, which serves the City of Belle Isle and the City of Edgewood, at 11: 15 a.m.
