Central Florida International Trade Office Celebrates Grand Opening

Orange County, FL – Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs will join JPMorgan Chase & Co. and the National Entrepreneur Center at the grand opening celebration of the Central Florida International Trade Office (CFITO), located at 3201 E. Colonial Dr. on March 28 at 8:30 a.m.

CFITO is a regional hub for foreign entrepreneurs and international companies interested in doing business in Central Florida. The CFITO office is now open at the National Entrepreneur Center at Orlando Fashion Square and serves as a central location for connecting the global trading community to local companies. CFITO also supports small businesses looking to export goods and services through international partnerships and resources.

Mayor Jacobs will deliver the opening remarks at the grand opening, which will be followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony.

“By providing a resource for connecting Central Florida’s international trade community, we hope to accelerate international trade activity throughout the region,” said Jerry Ross, Executive Director of the NEC.

“This center will help bolster the global reach of local companies and their impact in keeping our city’s economy prospering,” said Michael Dosal, market president for JPMorgan Chase in Florida.

CFITO will improve the efficiency of routing and directing inquiries by potential international trading partners, while leveraging our region’s existing network of support organizations to assist local businesses who want to explore international trade opportunities.
