Orange County Utilities Hosts Community Collection of Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste in Hunter’s Creek
Orange County, FL – Orange County Utilities invites eligible Orange County residents* to its Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste Community Collection Event on Saturday, July 19, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hunter’s Creek Middle School located at 13400 Town Loop Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32837. Participants will have the opportunity to properly dispose of hazardous and electronic waste – free of charge.
The following items will be accepted:
|Cooking oil||Vehicle batteries||Televisions|
|Flammable liquids||Drain cleaners||Computers|
|Cleaning fluids||Brake fluids & antifreeze||Telephones|
|Pesticides||Propane tanks (20-lb. max)||DVD players|
Participants are prohibited from bringing biologically active materials, radioactive materials, explosives, tires, or ammunition.
*Eligible participants include residents of unincorporated Orange County and the cities of Apopka, Ocoee, Orlando, Windermere, and Winter Garden only. Proof of residency is required.
