New Year’s Day Recycling Collection Service Provided for Unincorporated Orange County; There Will be no Garbage Collection Service
Orange County, FL – Orange County Utilities recycling collection service will continue as scheduled on Thursday, January 1, for the New Year’s Day holiday. There will be no garbage collection service in unincorporated Orange County on Thursday, January 1. Customers with recycling collection on Thursday will receive their regularly scheduled service. Customers with garbage collection on Thursday will receive garbage service the following Monday, January 5. Bulky items will not be collected during the holiday week.
Customers are reminded that live Christmas trees can be set out at the curb on a Wednesday for collection and recycling. Trees over six feet should be cut in half. Remove all ornaments, decorations, and stands before placing trees at the curb. Artificial trees are not collected with yard waste.
