Reams Road RCA Study Public Meeting on December 13

Orange County, Fla. – Orange County is conducting a Roadway Conceptual Analysis (RCA) study for the planned improvement (widening) of Reams Road from Summerlake Park Boulevard to Taborfield Avenue, a distance of approximately 3.1 miles. After receiving feedback from the community, a preferred alternative is being advanced and refined. The preferred “Centered/Hybrid Alignment Alternative” offers improved mobility and increased safety. The preferred alternative includes pedestrian and bicycle accommodations with a new 14-foot, shared-use path and sidewalks throughout the length of the project. Drainage improvements include cross drains, box culverts, as well as inlets and underground pipes to retention ponds. There will also be accommodations for small-species wildlife crossings.

The County invites you to attend a community meeting to review the preferred alternative that is under consideration and to provide input.
