Orange County’s 6th Annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration

WHAT: Orange County invites residents to the 6th annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month celebration. The event is free and open to the community, featuring various cultural performances in music and dance, as well as a children’s art exhibit. Breakfast will be available.

The event, now in its sixth year, is coordinated by the Orange County Asian Committee, an employee-based volunteer organization formed in 2012 with the goal of promoting and preserving the heritage and culture of Asian Americans, forming partnerships throughout the community and building relationships with local and international governments.

WHEN: Tuesday, May 8, 2018
Breakfast: 7:20 – 10 a.m.
Program: 7:20 – 8:55 a.m.
Proclamation Ceremony: 9 – 9:15 a.m. (inside the Board of County Commissioners Chambers)

*Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs will speak at 8:30 a.m.
