Orange County Neighborhood Preservation & Revitalization Hosts Archers’ Service Day

WHAT: In an effort to connect students with their communities, Archers’ Service Day was created in partnership with Orange County District 6 Commissioner Victoria P. Siplin, Orange County Neighborhood Preservation & Revitalization Office and Robinswood Middle School.

“I wanted to help bring the pride back to the Pine Hills community by helping families that didn’t grow up in the area understand some of its history,” said Robinswood Middle School Principal Nicole Jefferson. 

WHEN: Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019
8 a.m. – Opening and welcome
8:30 a.m. – Cleanup starts
11 a.m. – Cleanup ends
11:30 a.m. – Closing remarks

The event is open to the media, but Commissioner Siplin has limited interview availability from 8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

WHERE: Robinswood Middle School, 6305 Balboa Drive, Orlando, FL 32818

  • Nearly 300 Robinswood middle school students, administrators and community volunteers will clean up portions of the Pine Hills community.
