Rouse Road Reopened

Hurricane Ian Floodwater Damage Forced Lane Closure

Orange County GovernmentOrange County, Fla. – Roadway restoration on Rouse Road has been completed by contractor crews hired by Orange County Public Works Roads and Drainage Division, and all lanes are now reopened.

A traffic shift had been in place since floodwaters caused by Hurricane Ian severely damaged the road. Northbound traffic was diverted onto the southbound lane between Buck Road and University Boulevard.

While crews are still working along the road to make final repairs, traffic is not being impeded. Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling in the area.
