On-site D-SNAP Location Set to Open at Camping World Stadium

Nutrition benefits available to Orange County families impacted by Hurricane Ian

Orange County GovernmentOrange County, FL – A Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP) location will be open for Orange County residents on Monday, January 9 through Wednesday, January 11 at Camping World Stadium for applicants to complete an in-person interview. A telephone interview option will be available on Wednesday, January 11. D-SNAP provides food assistance for individuals and families impacted by Hurricane Ian and who did not receive food assistance benefits in October 2022 through the regular Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Households that already received D-SNAP assistance for Hurricane Ian are not eligible for additional benefits.

Residents of Orange County who pre-registered online but did not have a chance to complete their D-SNAP phone interview can visit the D-SNAP location for an on-site interview or call the D-SNAP Call Center for a phone interview on the dates and times listed below. On-site interviews are not required if a phone interview is completed.

DCF will reopen pre-registration for individuals who reside in Orange County, beginning Saturday, January 7, 2023. Individuals only need to pre-register if they have not previously pre-registered. Individuals are asked to pre-register online before coming on-site or calling the D-SNAP Call Center to complete their interview. Online pre-registration will be available at www.myflfamilies.com/dsnap from Saturday, January 7 through Wednesday, January 11.

Please note:

  • October 2022 SNAP recipients are not eligible for D-SNAP.
  • Applicants who are approved during the telephone interview for D-SNAP will receive their EBT card by mail and should not attend the on-site D-SNAP location.
  • Households that already received D-SNAP assistance for Hurricane Ian are not eligible for additional benefits.
  • Households that do not live or work in Orange County will not be served at this on-site D-SNAP location.
