Orange County Government Hosts First Ever Contracting Academy

Procurement Division Leads Half-Day Session Aimed at Supporting Business Community

Orange County Government’s Procurement Division is providing several educational offerings to engage with the region’s business community during a half-day Contracting Academy on Friday, July 21, 2023, at the Renaissance Senior Center.

This gathering is designed to provide resources and education to those interested in working with the County on the finer points of procurement, minority and woman owned enterprise contracting goals, risk management requirements and navigating the online e-procurement platform.

The event workshops are designed to provide attendees with a comprehensive overview on all aspects associated with County contracting. While the in-person opportunity has reached capacity, these workshop sessions will be made available through Orange TV and on the county website shortly after taping.
