Orange County Government Announces First Mayor’s Citizens Academy – En Español

Application window opens Wednesday, December 11, 2024 

Orange County, Fla. – Reflecting the growth of Orange County’s Hispanic community and the County’s dedication to serving Spanish-speaking residents, Orange County Government today announced that the Spring 2025 Mayor’s Citizen Academy will be conducted entirely in Spanish.

The Mayor’s Citizens Academy is a dynamic 10-week program that provides an interactive, first-hand look into local government. Participants will gain comprehensive insights into Orange County’s operations and services, engage with County leadership, and experience guided tours of government facilities. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and residents of Orange County to participate in the Mayor’s Citizen Academy.

WHEN:
Thursday evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
February 6 – April 10, 2025

All sessions are in Spanish.

Applications will be accepted beginning December 11, 2024. Class size is limited.
