Orange County Encourages Residents to Participate in DEA National Drug Takeback Day

National Prescription Take Back Day is set for April 26, 2025

Orange County, FL – The Office for a Drug-Free Community encourages Orange County residents to participate in National Prescription Take Back Day, on Saturday, April 26, 2025, beginning at 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. An initiative of the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), this event provides a safe and responsible way for residents to get rid of unused or expired prescription drugs and mitigate the potential risk of medication abuse.

The initiative will accept drugs in tablet or liquid form. Needles will not be accepted. Locations within Orange County include:
