Orange County Redistricting Advisory Committee to Meet Tonight

Orange County, FL – The 2025 Mid-Decennial Redistricting Advisory Committee which is charged with making recommendations for the expansion of the Orange County Commission from six to eight districts will meet tonight to discuss suggested maps.

The meeting takes place July 30 at 6 p.m. in the Orange County Administration Building, Commission Chambers, 201 S. Rosalind Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801.

Eight maps will be discussed as part of tonight’s meeting agenda. Following the discussion, maps affirmed by the committee will undergo further review and consideration.

The committee is using a data-driven approach to evaluate current district boundaries, propose alternatives and recommend two new commission districts to the Orange County Board of County Commissioners.

The Redistricting Advisory Committee will submit a final recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners with a Board vote in September 2025.
