Art in the Chambers Opening Reception: “WE” by Gisela Romero

WHAT:
Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the Public Art Review Board, presents Art in the Chambers featuring “WE” by Gisela Romero. An opening reception will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, in the chambers gallery at the Orange County Administration Center. “WE” will be on display from September 25, 2025, to January 27, 2026. The Administration Center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., excluding holidays.
“Since emigrating from Venezuela to the United States, I’ve spent a long time listening to the stories of other immigrants to better understand the emotions of those who have had to leave their country of origin in search of a better life elsewhere.” said, Romero. “Recently I began to understand that those emotions are the same ones that all people experience when moving from one stage of life to another. Any transition in life is difficult, and it’s good to know that we are not alone.”
