Learning Workshops Announced for Orange County Recovers Hurricane Relief Program
Federal funding now available for homeowners with damage from Hurricane Milton
WHAT:
Orange County’s Housing and Community Development Division has federal funding available through its Orange County Recovers program to help homeowners with unresolved damage from Hurricane Milton.
Residents are invited to attend upcoming workshops to learn more about the program and funding eligibility criteria, and for assistance in completing an application. Applications for the Orange County Recovers program will be taken onsite.
The online application portal is now open for property owners with Hurricane Milton damage. Visit Apply – Orange County Recovers Program to apply. Applicants do not need to attend a learning workshop to apply.
The Orange County Recovers program uses federal Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery funds to help residents of Orange County and its municipalities repair, rebuild, or replace eligible homes that have remaining damage from Hurricane Milton and Hurricane Ian.
