Orange County Mayor’s Veterans Advisory Council Announces Annual War Memorial Commemoration Ceremony
WHAT:
Residents are invited to join Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings and the Orange County Veterans Advisory Council at a Memorial Day ceremony honoring the brave U.S. service members who made the ultimate sacrifice. The program will take place at the Orange County Courthouse on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.
The keynote speaker is Retired United States Navy Captain Tim Hill, past president of the Central Florida Navy League. Captain Hill retired from active duty after nearly 34 years of service and is now the President and CEO of Design Interactive. The program for the ceremony and Capt. The ceremony will conclude with a wreath-laying outside the Orange County Courthouse memorial site.
