Orange County Holds Stormwater Utility Fee Community Meetings
Orange County, Fla. – Orange County Public Works will host a series of community meetings to gather resident feedback on a potential Stormwater Utility Fee. The fee is being evaluated as a funding option to address stormwater runoff, localized flooding, drainage improvements, water quality protection, and maintenance of stormwater infrastructure.
Many older communities have limited stormwater capacity and treatment systems. A dedicated funding source could support long-term improvements that help protect homes, roadways, lakes, rivers, and springs.
Residents are encouraged to attend, learn more about the study, ask questions, and provide input that will help inform future decisions by the Board of County Commissioners.
