A groundbreaking ceremony took place March 7, 2022 to welcome Astronics Test Systems (ATS) headquarters to Orange County. Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings provided welcome remarks and took part in the official shovel digging ceremony. ATS is an industry leader in providing test solutions for mission critical industries which include many systems used by the defense and space partners in Central Florida. ATS is relocating 70 employees from across the country to their new $13 million facility in Central Florida Research Park and also plans to create 60 new jobs in the next two years.
