Mayor Teresa Jacobs celebrated Week of the Family at the Mayor’s Family Fun Day on Nov. 5 at Jay Blanchard Park. At the event, Mayor Jacobs kicked off a new initiative, Let’s Read Orange County, in partnership with Orange County, Florida Government, Orange County Library System (FL), the Orange County Citizens’ Commission for Children and Just 1 Book. The goal of the initiative is to improve literacy by providing library cards to the residents of Orange County.
