Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs, along with the entire Orange County Board of County Commissioners made a special trip to Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) Friday, April 28, in an effort to help garner interest and attention to the shelter’s Lake Walk expansion project. The Lake Walk program encourages volunteers and staff to take a shelter dog out for a stroll around a cleared path just outside the lake on property. The project is another great addition to the shelter and was designed to promote exercise among both dogs and their human friends.
