The Orange County Office for a Drug Free Community recently hosted nearly 50 individuals representing local substance abuse treatment providers, social service offices, law enforcement agencies and community activists for a special screening of the film “Chasing the Dragon: The Life of an Opiate Addict.” The 2016 feature film, screened at the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office, depicts real-life stories of individuals addicted to heroin and other opioid-based drugs.
