Young Pine Community Park Grand Opening

WHAT: Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs, District 4 Commissioner Jennifer Thompson and the Parks and Recreation Division will celebrate the grand opening of Young Pine Community Park. The 61-acre park’s amenities include an inclusive playground, teen workout stations, walking path and wetland trail, kayak launch, fishing pier, dog park, pavilion and multi-purpose fields.

An inclusive playground provides kids of all abilities with an opportunity to participate in recreation. This playground includes a ramp and space for a wheel chair; ADA swings suitable for ages up to 16; and tactile play area with bongos and tic-tac-toe. This is Orange County’s first new park built with an inclusive playground.
