OC Utilities Offer Free Residential Irrigation Audits

Orange County, FL – If your lawn has a drinking problem, Orange County Utilities may have a solution. Orange County Utilities offers its water customers who use at least 15,000 gallons of potable water per month for irrigation and have an in-ground irrigation system the opportunity to receive a free residential irrigation audit.

For eligible customers, a licensed contractor will perform an inspection of the in-ground irrigation system and will provide written recommendations to make the system more efficient.

Established in 2000, the goal of the Mobile Irrigation Lab Audit Program is to ensure that Orange County Utilities’ potable water customers are utilizing their system efficiently and avoiding wasting excessive amounts of water. Since its inception, 1,234 audits have been completed.
