ORANGE COUNTY 2020 CHARTER REVIEW COMMISSION NUMBER AND COMPOSITION OF COUNTY COMMISSION DISTRICTS SUBCOMMITTEE REPORT

The Orange County 2020 Charter Review Commission (CRC) Number and Composition of County Commission Districts Subcommittee will present a second reading of its final report containing its recommendations to the CRC and Orange County residents.

After careful consideration of the information presented, the Number and Composition of County Commission Districts Subcommittee voted to recommend no amendments to the Orange County Charter be made with respect to the number and composition of Orange County Districts. The subcommittee also voted to recommend no amendments to the Orange County Charter be made with respect to whether the Board of County Commissioners are full or part-time officers.

At its meeting on March 4, 2020, the CRC will vote on whether to accept the subcommittee’s recommendations. The public is invited to attend and be heard.
