Orange County 2020 Charter Review Commission Split Oak Subcommittee Report

Orange County, Fla. – The Orange County 2020 Charter Review Commission (CRC) Split Oak Subcommittee will present a second reading of its final report containing its recommendation to the CRC and Orange County residents.

After careful consideration of the information presented, the Split Oak Subcommittee voted to recommend a change to the Orange County Charter be made with respect to protecting Split Oak Forest by restricting Board of County Commissioners’ amendment of restrictions and covenants.

At its virtual meeting on May 6, 2020, the CRC will vote on whether to accept the subcommittee’s recommendation. The public is invited to attend and be heard.
