State of the County 2020 Virtual Address Presented by Mayor Jerry L. Demings | June 26, 2020
WHAT: Mayor Jerry L. Demings will hold his 2020 State of the County address virtually from the Orange County Convention Center. The annual address highlights the accomplishments and challenges faced by Orange County Government, residents, businesses and community partners over the past year. The address also looks to the future to build a community that works for everyone.
WHEN: Watch the virtual event, Friday, June 26, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. Details are available on the county’s website, www.ocfl.net/SOC.
WHERE: Orange County Convention Center, Lecture Hall (Room West 300), 9800 International Drive, Orlando
Only essential personnel will be allowed inside the Lecture Hall. There will be no audience. Mayor Demings will be available immediately following the address for media questions. The location of the news conference will be in the atrium outside the lecture hall.
MEDIA RSVP
Please be advised, due to security and health guidelines, we will require an RSVP for reporters. Please email pio@ocfl.net with the names of reporters and photographers that will attend. Credentials will be required. The Wi-Fi login details will be available upon arrival. RSVP’s are required no later than Thursday, June 25.
PARKING
Media parking will be available curbside on Convention Way, West Concourse.
