Orange County Environmental Protection Division (EPD) to Host Fix It! Don’t Pitch It! Community Repair Event

Orange County GovernmentWHAT:

Orange County’s unique, free community repair event, Fix It! Don’t Pitch It! is back! Volunteer fixers offer free minor repairs of gently used everyday household items such as electronics, bicycles, jewelry, eyeglasses, watches, clothing and more.

Sustainability, innovation, and collaboration are at the heart of this event that encourages residents to repair and extend the life of their household items. Every item that is fixed equates to one less ending up in the landfill. It also means less money spent buying new items to replace broken ones.

  • Orange County EPD Staff
  • Community volunteers helping to join our efforts to take part in the Reduce, Reuse, Repair and Recycle program.

*Spanish speakers from EPD will be available.
