Orange County Government to Host Authentic, Remarkable & Talented Art Contest Awards Reception
Orange County, Fla. – On behalf of the Orange County Dr. Martin Luther King Jr (MLK) Initiative, Mayor Jerry L. Demings is pleased to announce the Authentic, Remarkable & Talented Art Contest awards reception will take place on April 21, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at the Orange County Administration building in Orlando.
The awards reception will recognize 14 students as contest winners and their art pieces will be unveiled. The students were among 68 elementary and high school students who participated in the art competition in December 2022. The contest was held in partnership with Orange County Public Schools. In addition to the contest winners, students from Maxey Elementary Art Club will also be present and recognized.
We encourage Orange County Public Schools’ leadership, faculty, and families of the winners to attend and celebrate the students and their artwork.
