Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs and Orange County Public Schools Celebrate “Student Peace Art Exhibit – Building a Bridge to Peace”

First ever art exhibit at the Orange County Multicultural Center is a partnership with Global Peace 360°

WHAT:
In partnership with the Global Peace 360° (formerly known as the Global Peace Film Festival), Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs and Orange County Public Schools Visual Arts Program will celebrate the participants of a juried student art installation – the first exhibit in the Orange County Multicultural Center. “Student Peace Art Exhibit – Building a Bridge to Peace” will feature creative works by young artists reflecting how they can help build peace in their community and the world.

On Monday, September 23, Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings will present prizes for the best work in each category: grades K–2, 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12. Every participating student artist will receive a certificate.

YouthArts.360° is an educational initiative of Global Peace 360° that empowers young artists to explore themes of peace and justice through visual art.
