Monday Groundbreaking Set for New Tangelo Park Community Action Center
Mayor Jerry L. Demings and Commissioner Michael Scott will attend
Orange County, Fla. – On Monday, February 3, at 9:00 am, Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings and District Six Commissioner Michael Scott will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the Tangelo Park Community Action Center. The event will take place at the community center’s site: 5160 Pueblo Street, Orlando, Fla., 32819.
The news media is invited to gather photos, video, and interviews. In addition to Mayor Demings and Commissioner Scott, brief remarks will be provided by Tangelo Park residents and community leaders.
Scheduled to open in the Fall of 2025, this state-of-the-art facility will be the ninth Orange County Community Action Center. Strategically placed throughout Orange County, these centers provide low-income communities with vitally needed social programs, resources, and services.
The facility will be managed by Orange County’s Community Action Division, a part of the Community and Family Services Department.
