Statement from Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings on December 2024 Tourist Development Tax Collections | February 4, 2025
“I am pleased that the tourism numbers remain strong for Orange County. Visitors to our area helped us close out last year with record breaking Tourist Development Tax (TDT) collections. The monies received by Orange County for December 2024 were the highest ever at $31.7 million.
In addition to the great visitation to our theme parks, the Orange County Convention Center hosted numerous events in December 2024 that drove attendance to a 16% increase over 2023.”
– Jerry L. Demings, Orange County Mayor
