Groundbreaking Set for Two New Affordable Housing Communities in Orange County
The adjacent communities will bring 480 affordable units to Apopka
Orange County, Fla. – Orange County will break ground on two adjacent affordable housing communities in Apopka on Thursday, May, 22, at 9:00 am. Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings will attend to celebrate the start of construction on The Mira and The Stillwaters.
Groundbreaking ceremonies will take place at the construction site located at 1277 Plymouth Sorrento Rd, Apopka, FL 32712. The news media is invited to gather photos, video, and interviews.
Mayor Demings will deliver remarks about the projects that support the Mayor’s “Housing for All” initiative, which prioritizes short and long-term solutions to address the affordable housing crisis. For more information, visit Housing For All.
Developed by Dominium, The Stillwaters will include 180 affordable units for seniors 62 and over, while The Mira will provide 300 affordable units for families.
