Orange County Redistricting Advisory Committee to Meet August 28 to Discuss Map Recommendations
Orange County, FL – The 2025 Mid-Decennial Redistricting Advisory Committee, which is charged with making recommendations for the expansion of the Orange County Commission from six to eight districts, will meet Thursday, August 28, at 6:00 p.m.
The Committee will review seven previously approved maps, including two that have been updated. Using the standard process, members will decide which maps to recommend to the Board of County Commissioners for final approval. The meeting takes place in the Orange County Administration Building, Commission Chambers, 201 S. Rosalind Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801.
The Mid-Decennial Redistricting Advisory Committee recommendations will be presented to the Board of County Commissioners during a Work Session and vote on September 16, followed by a Public Hearing on October 14. Dates are subject to change.
