Orange County Redistricting Advisory Committee to Meet Tuesday, August 12

Orange County, FL – The 2025 Mid-Decennial Redistricting Advisory Committee, which is charged with making recommendations for the expansion of the Orange County Commission from six to eight districts, will meet Tuesday, August 12, at 6:00 p.m. to discuss suggested maps. The maps affirmed by the committee will move forward for further review and consideration.
The meeting will take place in the Orange County Administration Building, Commission Chambers, 201 S. Rosalind Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801.
Using a data-driven approach, the committee is evaluating current district boundaries, exploring alternatives, and recommending the creation of two new commission districts for the Orange County Board of County Commissioners.
The Redistricting Advisory Committee will present its final recommendation to the Board for a vote in September 2025.
