FINAL UPDATE SUNDAY, AUGUST 17: The precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted as of Sunday, August 17 at 8 a.m. It is no longer necessary to boil water prior to consumption.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 15 UPDATE: The precautionary boil water advisory has been extended through Sunday, August 17 due to unsatisfactory required lab test results. The area should continue to boil water prior to consumption. Additional updates will be issued, as necessary.
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 13 UPDATE: The duration of this precautionary boil water advisory will last until at least Friday, August 15, 2025. Additional updates will be issued, as necessary.

Water Main Break Under Repair in S. Apopka Vineland Road Area is Extended
Precautionary boil water advisory will be issued upon service restoration.
Orange County, FL – A water main break off S. Apopka Vineland Road south of Vinings Way Boulevard in Orange County is under repair by Orange County Utilities crews. Northbound lanes near that intersection are being re-routed with the assistance of law enforcement. Drivers should avoid the area, if possible.
When service is fully restored, Orange County Utilities will issue a precautionary boil water advisory to affected customers via their preferred method – phone call, email or text. Customers will be advised to boil their water for one minute prior to consumption. This includes drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes. For showering/bathing and doing laundry, water does not need to be boiled prior to use.
