Orange County Neighborhood Services Division Hosts Fixing Up the Neighborhood (F.U.N.) Program in Lockhart

Due to several days of rain in the Lockhart community, and more rain forecast for Friday, October 10, 2025, Habitat for Humanity and the Orange County Neighborhood Services Division have made the difficult decision to cancel the Fixing Up the Neighborhood (F.U.N). Kick-Off Ceremony and neighborhood painting event scheduled for that day.
The home painting will be rescheduled, and a possible wrap-up celebration may be planned for a later date.
More than 150 volunteers to paint the exterior of 15 homes in just one day.
WHAT:
The Fixing up the Neighborhood (F.U.N.) program aims to revitalize neighborhoods while fostering community pride and connection among residents. Relaunched this year, the program has selected the Lockhart community to receive free home-improvement assistance.
The project is a partnership between Orange County’s Neighborhood Services Division and Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County. On Friday, October 10, 2025, more than 150 volunteers, including 90 from Mitsubishi Power, will unite to give Lockhart a fresh look, painting the exteriors of 15 homes in just one day.

The home sites are approximately a one-mile drive from the Kickoff Ceremony location.
