As Orange County’s chief executive officer, the County Mayor oversees the administration of day-to-day operations of Orange County Government; sets the agenda for and chairs Board of County Commissioner meetings; is responsible for the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and ordinances as determined by the County Mayor and the Board; and is responsible for submitting the annual budget, along with a variety of other duties, as defined in the Orange County Charter.
