Mayor Teresa Jacobs and Orange County Government Kick Off Hispanic Heritage Month with Free Events

Orange County, FL – Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs and Orange County Government are partnering with the Hispanic Heritage Committee of Greater Orange County (HHCGOC) to commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month 2015, celebrated from September 15 through October 15.

As a part of this effort, Orange County Government will host the following events organized by HHCGOC throughout the month. All activities are free and open to the public.

Event Details
Orange County Hispanic Heritage Kick-off Party

Date: Wednesday, September 9, 2015

Featuring: Musical performance, dance and food

Orange Fiesta in the Park
Date: Saturday, October 10, 2015
Time: 11 – 3 p.m.
Location: Blanchard Park
Address: 2451 North Dean Road, Orlando, FL 32817
Admission: Free
Featuring: Live music, food, information booths, games and children’s soccer clinics

The Hispanic Heritage Committee of Greater Orange County is a volunteer-based organization founded in 1999 with the purpose of providing opportunities that promote and highlight the contributions made by individuals of Hispanic descent in the community.
