Orange County Announces the Closing of COVID-19 Vaccine Sites at Four Recreation Centers

Four Orange County Recreation Center COVID-19 vaccine sites will permanently close on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 7 p.m.  The sites are located at the Goldenrod, Meadow Woods, South Econ and the West Orange Recreation Center gymnasiums.

Since May 4, 2021, the four Recreation Center sites have administered nearly 11,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Other Orange County Government options for the vaccine will be through the drive – thru Barnett Park location. No appointments are required and walk-ups are accepted.

SECOND DOSES ONLY: PFIZER
The FEMA vaccination site located on the West campus of Valencia College will remain open for the next three weeks to administer second doses only of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccinations will be given to those who received their first COVID-19 shot at the FEMA site.

Individuals who require a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine can also visit Barnett Park, or any other vaccine provider that offers the Pfizer-brand vaccine. You must bring your vaccination card.
