Orange County Animal Services Announces Bus Advertising Effort

Shelter Partnering with Lynx for Full Wrap to Promote Adoption

Orange County Animal ServicesOrange County, Fla. – Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) announced today that it has partnered with Vector Media, which handles the advertising for local bus ads, for a full wrap of a Lynx LYMMO bus that will now be cruising the downtown Orlando streets. The shelter has long partnered with advertising vendors in an effort to bring awareness to the various services and programs available, but this will be the first venture with a full bus wrap.

“We all know how eye-catching those full bus wraps can be so for our shelter to land one and be able to promote pet adoption to such a wide audience, this is an exciting day for us,” said Diane Summers, manager for Orange County Animal Services.

The wrap features several shelter animals as bus passengers, along with the shelter’s messaging: adopt, foster, volunteer, donate and share. The bus will feature the wrap for a six-month period.

“We know this ad will turn millions of heads during its time on the road,” said Summers. “Our shelter is caring for an average of 300 pets on any given day and our hope is that through this ad more people will think of adopting from the shelter, rather than obtaining a pet from another source.”

Those interested in learning more about the shelter’s adoption program can do so here.
