Art in the Atrium Opening Reception: “From Earth to Soul” by Vidisha Bajpai

WHAT:
Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs presents Art in the Atrium, featuring traditional Indian artwork “From Earth to Soul” by Vidisha Bajpai. An opening reception will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, in the atrium gallery at the Orange County Administration Center. “From Earth to Soul” will be on display through Tuesday, December 9, 2025. The Administration Center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., excluding holidays.

Bajpai is a visual artist, philanthropist, and art educator. She describes being captivated by the diverse beauty of nature from a young age, and as a self-taught artist, her work is deeply inspired by her surroundings. In recent years, she has dedicated herself to practicing Indian Folk Art, specifically the traditional Madhubani style, which originates from South Asian countries such as India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

Doors open at 5 p.m.
Program begins at 5:45 p.m.
Display continues through Tuesday, December 9, 2025
