Orange County Neighborhood Preservation & Revitalization Office Hosts Taft Community Cleanup for Earth Day

WHAT: The Taft Community Center has partnered with TransPremier, a local construction company in the Taft area, and Orange County Government to invite residents to take part in a community cleanup on April 21 for Earth Day.

From 8 to 11 a.m., Orange County crew will pick up large items (e.g., mattresses) placed curbside by residents in the Taft community. Volunteers will pick up trash and debris along roadways surrounding Taft and area neighborhoods. Prior to the event, Taft residents are encouraged to clean up their yards, pick up trash and place all unwanted bulk items at their curb for pick-up. After the cleanup, there will be a celebration at the Taft Community Center.

WHEN: Saturday, April 21

8 a.m. to 11 a.m. – Community Cleanup

11 a.m. – Ending celebration at the Taft Community Center
