The Central Florida Commission on Homelessness (CFCH) announced the launch of its new “Impact Families” program with community partners at Goodwill Industries of Central Florida, Inc. on Aug. 4. This initiative is a pilot program that will focus on increasing housing stability through a strong emphasis on employment and education. The program was developed after research found that more than 10,000 school-aged children were homeless in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties during the 2016-2017 school year.
