Mayor Jerry L. Demings to Host ‘Shop, Drop and Make a Difference’ Contact-free Toy Drop Event on Monday, November 23
WHAT: With many Orange County families facing greater financial hardships than ever before due to COVID-19, Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings has launched the 2020 Orange County Mayor’s Toy Drive. This year there are unique opportunities to ensure safety during the 10th annual holiday drive.
One of them will be a contact-free drive-thru event to donate toys on Monday, November 23, 2020.
Residents can drop-off a new unwrapped gift for children ages 18 and under without having to leave their vehicle.
*Free facemasks and hand sanitizer will be distributed to each participating vehicle. While supplies last.*
WHO: Stuff, Knightro, Shades, Kingston and Scooter will join forces with Mayor Demings to collect toys, while local heroes from Orange County Fire Rescue will ‘show and tell’ emergency response vehicles.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Patrol (Equestrian) Unit will also be on-site.

Online shopping donations will be accepted until Monday, December 7, 2020
In-person donations will be accepted until Monday, December 14, 2020
It is recommended that extra items be included with some toys, e.g. batteries with electronic toys, or crayons with a coloring book.
